FAQs

Q: Who can export assets to Adobe Experience Manager Assets?

A: There are a few requirements to use this feature:

  • Your Frame.io V4 account must be managed via Adobe Admin Console.

  • The integration supports Adobe Experience Manager Assets Cloud Services version 2026.07 or newer.

Q: How many assets can I export? Are there any limitations?
A:
Currently, the integration supports exporting assets and folders where the total number of assets/folders exported at once is under 100 and under 30GB.

Q: Can I export folders?
A:
Yes! You can export folders and nested folders as long as the total number of folders and assets is under 100.

Q: Can I send metadata from Frame.io to Adobe Experience Manager Assets?

A: Not yet. Frame.io-specific metadata is not included in this version, but we're looking to support metadata transfer in a future release. In the meantime, please share your feedback and metadata needs with us.

Q: My team also uses Workfront. Should we export assets from Frame.io to Adobe Experience Manager Assets, or use the Workfront integration?

A: The right answer depends on your workflow. Workfront customers typically benefit from the Workfront to Experience Manager Assets integration offered as part of Unified Review and Approval because of its advanced metadata capabilities. However, if your team primarily works with assets in Frame.io, exporting directly from Frame.io to Experience Manager Assets may be the desired path. Discuss further with your account team on what workflow makes sense.
